Kristi, obligatory fandom recluse. Yes, that's the hermit and the spider. Take your pick.

Don't worry if I don't friend you. It mostly means one of two things: a) I haven't checked my info page in forever and didn't know you'd friended me or b) I just don't have the time to read anything but what's already friended.

If I've friended you and you're wondering who this random person is... Uh, hi! I think you're cool and want to stalk you and steal your identity just lurk a while because I am ever so bad at not being lazy commenting.

I like cheese. The food kind and the metaphorical kind. See: my interests. I also like English and Sociology, which I have degrees in, though from the way I act you'd never think I was older than twelve. Intellectually, I mean. I love cats and dogs and I hate my apartment lease that forbids pets. I enjoy being cranky and write almost constantly. I also have weird ideas about feminism, religion, sex, gender relations, stratification, work, justice and monkeys. You probably won't see much talking about any of those here.

Okay, so, maybe the monkeys.

I'm not Witty; I just play one on TV. Especially now, since I'm in graduate school at the moment, so I don't post nearly as much as I used to.

Note: This journal used to be known as idiotparade. If you'd like to know about the name, read this.

My header banners -- as well as the vast majority of icons -- are made by saeva. She's cool. Go check out her icon journal: nihil_est.
